Colombian Coffee Federation Adjusts Yield Factor to 94kg per Bag

The National Federation of Coffee Growers (FNC) in Colombia has announced a crucial adjustment in the yield factor for coffee, setting it at 94 kg of dry parchment coffee per 70 kg bag of Excelso coffee, effective from April 1st. This change, decided during the FNC’s Steering Committee session on March 20th, is based on a thorough analysis of yield factor trends since September 2019. The adjustment aims to more accurately reflect the internal reference price and settlement for coffee in Colombia, ensuring that the final price received by producers remains unaffected.
